Other than simply worrying about paying on an ACV basis are you ascertaining whether the other party properly controlled their loss. Are you paying for ex gratia payments, supplements or items not loss related? Add value to your work product by scrutinizing and commenting on sub document validity. Check to see if the most cost effective and state of the art methods were utilized. What else should you be verifying? Comments?
