- After working thoughout high chool at my family brokerage, I decided to go to Fanshawe and take the Insurance program to learn more about the industry. While living in London I fell in love with the town and decided to expand my opportuities there and was givin a contract position at AXA insurance where a learned more about the company side of the business.
Following the end of my contract and the non-existance of my position within the company I moved further and was pleased to accept a position at Totten Insurance Group. Here I quickly felt like one of the family and was encouraged to learn more and eventually was givin an underwriting assistant position within the company. I found it very interesting to see things from a different perspective which made if very difficult to leave this opportunity in the big city and return to my roots in my home town.
I am now back at my family brokerage and have recently received my R.I.B.O. licence which has givin me many more opportunites which I look forward too.
