Telecommunications theft - misappropriation

Wondering if anyone has come across a loss situation where a company has sustained considerable long-distance charges caused by an unknown third-party using their phone system. Any insurance mechanism for handling? I don't see cover under any crime or property forms. Telephone lines misappropriated could result in thousands of dollars of long-distance charges which the telephone company will certainly expect payment of, unless relationship supports them waiving.
