H1N1 and the workplace

So does one stay home or take the risk of many booking a "personal" or "sick" day to avoid contact?

Most people who are of working age… Continue

Travel insurance - what a great idea! Disability insurance with a zero waiting period would also be something to consider but my understanding is that the cost is often prohibitive. Check out my article and thanks to Canadian Underwriter for drawing this to our attention. Selling peace of mind is what we are all about!

Banks will no longer sell online

Posted on October 9, 2009 at 9:33am 4 Comments

When I heard the news that soon the banks will no longer be offering online insurance products I did feel some relief.

It bothered me to walk into the local Royal Bank and see the signs advertising insurance. The tellers were directing people to check out the online information. I do agree with the Minister Flaherty's decision that this is unacceptable.

Have a nice day

My best regards.

Thanks Heather. The only problem is I do not write my exam until December. I am sure to pick your brain some more between now and then. It is good to know that there are resources and people such as yourself out there willing to help!

Hi Heather,

Welcome to join our group. Our Association (although called the Canadian Chinese...), does have quite a number of non-Chinese members who want to network and mingle with the Chinese community. So, you're welcome to join us. You can view our Association website:

Hello Heather
Yes the Group CAFI conducts training in Fire Investigation and issues of such. I run a company that secures large losses to maintain continuity and prevent additional liabilities. We are expanding into Alberta in the near future. How is the weather out there?
